Privacy Policy
Short version: we don't collect any of your data.
Sudoku Cubes has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your puzzle progress stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account. We never see it.
Data we collect
None. Sudoku Cubes does not collect, store on our servers, sell or share any personal information or usage data. The app does not contain third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and it does not use the advertising identifier.
Data stored on your device
To remember where you left off, the app saves your game progress, best times and settings (such as sound, haptics and mistake checking) locally on your device. This information never leaves your device except through iCloud as described below. Deleting the app deletes this data.
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, the app keeps a small copy of your progress (which puzzles you solved, your best times and your current games) in iCloud key-value storage so it can follow you to your other devices. This data is stored in your own iCloud account under Apple's privacy policy; we have no access to it. You can turn iCloud off for Sudoku Cubes at any time in your device's Settings.
Purchases
The optional "unlock everything" purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, email address, payment details or Apple Account information. The app only asks Apple, on your device, whether the purchase is active, so it can unlock the puzzles and restore them on your other devices.
No analytics, no ads, no tracking
- No analytics or crash-reporting services run inside the app.
- No advertising of any kind.
- No tracking across apps or websites, and no data brokers.
- No sign-in or account is required, or even offered.
If you choose to share crash reports or diagnostics with developers through your device's settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated reports under Apple's own terms.
Children
Sudoku Cubes is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
This website
sudokucubes.com uses no cookies and no analytics. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to download them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. We will never start collecting personal data without telling you clearly in the app first.
